Damn, so close.  Scandinavian wireless carrier TeliaSonera is planning a homegrown application that will grant multimedia messaging functionality to the handset.  Let’s hope the application makes it through Apple’s approval.  After that, it’s only a matter of time before it lands in the App Store in the US.
