Belgium’s science station in Antarctica

For anyone that cares, Belgium’s opened a €20 million “zero emissions” polar science station in Antarctica on Sunday, returning to the continent to study climate change 42 years after closing its first base there.

The Princess Elisabeth research hub is totally energy-self-sufficient and also aims not to emit any carbon dioxide, according to the International Polar Foundation, which runs the base.

For the ultimate douchebag: Google Me Business Cards

Even though the “Google Me” business card is clever and remarkably designed, I just don’t see myself printing any with my name. Not to say my name is common because it’s not, but I don’t thinkn I want to be mistaken for an Oracle employee from San Francisco. 

I also think this card just invites the snobs and assholes of the world to further their ways exponentially.

Now Open: Saks Fifth Avenue’s Kiton Shop

Kiton apparel is one of Italy’s finest makers of suits and other luxury goods. Each piece is sewn by hand in Italy and then dished out in small portions to a handful of retailers. Saks has been working on a Kiton shop-in-shop for years and has finally opened its doors to the 2,000-square-foot location. Video: Sports Illustrated Models in 370Z, Danica Patrick not invited

How lucky are those drivers? Actually, how lucky are those cars? Over at Sports Illustrated’s YouTube channel, some of the beautiful ladies from this year’s Swimsuit Issue are taken for a ride of their lives. 

Melissa Haro, Jessica Hart and Damaris Lewis are driven around Las Vegas in the brand new 332-hp 2009 Nissan 370Z. Where’s Danica Patrick? The Indy driver also made an appearance in this year’s Swimsuit Issue but it seems there was no invite on this adventure.
