Verizon customers should be glad to hear that the BlackBerry Tour has been confirmed to release on July 12th for $200. The deal is tremendous and final word came via the launch of a pre-order page. For anyone unfamiliar with the BlackBerry Tour, it’s packing a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS and a magnificent display. It’s currently scheduled to come to Sprint on July 20th.

So, who’s going out and getting one?

Who’s the Dumb Duck: Ringtone Interrupts President Obama’s Speech

You would that by now, people have learned to put their cell phones to vibrate or silent when they’re in the middle of something important like covering President Obama‘s live speech on immigration reform. One reporter forgot to turn his off while the President of the United States was giving a speech. The ringtone, as the President points out, was a duck quacking. “Where do guys get these ringtones anyway? Just curious.”

The undulating bench features a black fiberglass base with an ultra-modern upholstered seat, pictured in rich dark brown, classic black and a modern black-and-white cowhide motif.”

A 16,000 sq ft two-story main house with 6 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, a 2000 sq ft cabana/guest house with 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms, and a 2000 sq ft staff/maid’s quarters with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with service kitchen. Designed by Touzet Studio, the home is actually for sale right now through David Solomon.

Japanese watch brand Alive Tokyo has teamed up with Korean studio BrownBreath for the ’12 Gan-Ji’ wristwatch. The design is based on “12 Gan-ji,” an oriental time concept that divides a day by 12 terms, a belief shared by both Korean and Japanese cultures. For example, 子 means 2 hours from 11 to 1. all of the 12 terms are the counterpart of 12 different
animals.

On the news of Jackson’s death, the world began to mourn the life of a global icon; the Internet sputtered as fans reached out for more information. TIME Magazine is set to release a Special Commemorative Edition issue this week mourning the death of Michael Jackson.  The last time the magazine published a special edition in between weekly issues was in the days following 9/11.

When describing the label’s Spring 2010 display, Tim Blanks said, “There were prints that suggested worn urban surfaces, and striking footwear that looked like graffitied sequins.”
