Forbes' Top Billionaire Art Collectors

Despite one of the worst art market slumps in years, these wealthy fellows all have collections worth $700 million or more, giving room for some millionaires to make the list as well. Topping the list with $1 billion in art is Ronald Lauder, son of cosmetics maven Estee Lauder. Iranian-born academic and former art dealer Nasser David Khalili comes in second with $900 million in art. He has one of the largest private collections of Islamic art with over 20,000 items.
