Fall 2009: Ships Cutsews Twill Naval Jacket

Ships Cutsews Twill Naval Jacket

From Ships comes the Twill Naval Jacket, right in time for the fall season. Blessed with a military cut for a straight/slim fit, it’s much more comfortable and soft than it seems. This may be one of the more versatile pieces of the coming season, as it can be worn with casual pants or denims, giving you flexibility to wear it with whatever you like, wherever you like. The small shawl collar with strap closure really caught my eyes, not required but definitely a deal sealer.

Rockstar Games Bringing 90s, Grand Theft Auto to iPhone [GTA]

GTA, 90s coming to iPhone

Not much to say about this yet but Rockstar’s let the world know they’re bringing GTA to our beloved iPhones. Don’t think it’s going to be anything like Grand Theft Auto IV because they’ve also let us know the iPhone-version’s going to be a top-down affair, much like the original GTAs from the 90s. They say sequels are never as good as the original and we might see if this holds true when the Grand Theft Auto hits the App Store this fall. No screenshots yet, but worry not, we’re on the lookout for those as wells.

Spring/Summer 2010: Red Collar Project Lookbook [Great Expectations]Spring/Summer 2010: Red Collar Project Lookbook [Great Expectations]

Charles Dickens’ masterpiece Great Expectations was the inspiration behind Red Collar Project’s S/S 2010 collection. If not familiar, the story is about Pip, a young orphan boy who’s raised by his abusive sister and her husband. At this point, he lacked much motivation but when an anonymous benefactor offers him wealth on the condition that he leave for London, he agrees. In London, his lifestyle changes as he is groomed to be a Genteman, rather than a slacker as he once was. Red Collar Project brings influence from both aspects of Pip’s life, showing us bright colors and free spirit design mixed with dapper layers of conservative design.
