Incase Clear Snap Case for iPhone 4

Incase Clear Snap Case for iPhone 4Incase Clear Snap Case for iPhone 4

Good things come to those who wait, and from those who take their time. We’re sure the folks at incase weren’t sitting back with their feet kicked up for the past two months, because the iPhone 4 cases coming from their design team are solid. The latest also happens to be the lightest in their iPhone 4 product offering. The Clear Snap Case, if you haven’t guessed already, is see through so it works sort of like another layer of clear glass so the overall aesthetics of the iPhone 4 aren’t completely lost in translation.

All features are still accessible, including both front and back cameras as well as the side volume controls. The case also features a Flash Ring that surrounds the camera cutout, which prevents glare interference while using the camera.

Bovet Ottanta Tourbillon for Pininfarina

Bovet Ottanta Tourbillon for Pininfarina

The folks at Hodinkee turn us to a special timepiece from Turin-based design house Pininfarina. For their 80th anniversary, they commissioned watchmaker Bovet to craft the Ottanta Tourbillon, a watch that exudes elegance and delivers much versatility when it comes to usage. The design allows for it be worn on the wrist with either of its two faces displayed, or connected to a titanium chain for use as a pocket watch, or it can simply be configured as a miniature table clock. All of this is made possible without the need for any tools or accessories, allowing for seamless conversion.

The heart of the watch is powered by a special Tourbillon that, “Makes a round trip every 80 seconds, opposed to the more common 60 second variety.” Impressive indeed. Other features from the 514 piece automatic movement include an 80 hour power reserve, a platinum micro-rotor and a special Pininfarina balance screw.

Only 80 of these beauties will ever make it through production, with each priced in the $300,000 USD range. Head to Hodinkee for more details on this timepiece.

The Bureau x Alden Horween Cordovan Long Wing Blucher

The Bureau x Alden Horween Cordovan Long Wing Blucher

New England shoemaker Alden has been in business since 1884; needless to say, these guys know what they’re doing. In the past few seasons, we’ve seen them hit the scene with retailer-exclusive products, made in collaboration with some of our favorite shops. Belfast’s The Bureau may be the first we’ve seen outside of the United States to team up with Alden, though we I may be wrong.

Anyhow, the two have dropped a new variation to the immensely popular Long Wing Blucher we’ve seen before. The twist on this offering is the contrasting sole. The natural double oak leather outsoles really help this one be a firm fixture in your closet year round. Made to order for The Bureau.

Dunhill Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

Dunhill Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

The Spring 2011 collection from UK’s Dunhill looks quite promising. Plenty of well-cut suits to go around as well as a handful of products for when you’re not in work mode. We’re personally digging the lightweight outerwear pieces, as they’ve been fitted with some fine detailing that really caught out attention.
