Canon has officially taken the covers off the EOS 60D, the successor to their 50D model. The DSLR is looking rock solid with 18-megapixels, a single DIGIC 4 process and the ability to capture 1080p H.264 video. You can even edit your vids with an in-camera editing feature. The flexible 3-inch LCD screen is sure to come in handy as well. The ISO range is tremendous – 100 to 6,400 – and is purported to be expandable to 12,800. Processing RAW images from within the camera is also a reality. The Canon EOS 60D will be hitting retailers by end of September and is priced at $1,099 body only, or $1,400 when bundled with a 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens.
