It’s always interesting to see when a classic piece from one culture gets reinterpreted for another. Pigalle takes the classic American varsity jacket and revamps it with a Parisian silhouette. The 100% cotton exterior is hand dyed and embroidered with designs at the collar and hem that harken back to the Balkans. The jacket has a covered snap closure reminiscent of a French placket shirt and elasticated cuffs and hem. It’s an interesting outwear piece that would go as well with jeans a t-shirt as it would with chinos and a button down.
