H&M has announced a long term partnership with David Beckham to produce and exclusively sell his new David Beckham bodywear line through nearly 1,800 stores worldwide.

Well, looks like the fun has begun, folks. We’re in the middle of some gorgeous weather here in the Northeast but shops are already getting shipments for Fall 2011. Among the drops was this Caister Fair Isle jumper from Barbour. It’s made from 100% lambswool and comes in a storm grey shell. The details are immense as the gauge knit jumper sweater features a ribbed crew neck, brown suede elbow patches and a Barbour label to the side seam.

As always, Emporio Armani’s look is sophisticated and undeniably sleek. The designs are everything you’d expect from the label as their consistency is seldom matched in this market.
Oh, there’s so much to look forward to for Fall 2011, and the wishlist is getting longer and longer, my friends. Yuki Matsuda’s Yuketen brand is coming full force with handmade product that can’t be ignored. The Maine Guide Boot is back, of course, this time in a deep green leather shell and even a strap version of this classic outdoor style, as well as the very popular Oxford, and the classic Main Guide Boot as well for good measures. The Triangle Backpack will be available as well with its classic outdoor style and offered up in two colorways.
Here, we have a look at Libertine-Libertine’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection. The range looks to be a versatile one as it features a wide range of product for the colder months ahead. The offerings look fairly casual but the attention to detail makes the product quite wearable.
BALLY has tapped furniture design firm Herman Miller to craft this special edition Eames shell chair as part of their 160th anniversary. The chair’s fitted with four collapsible wooden legs and a white plastic seat with a red racing stripe running down the middle. There’s also a metal BALLY logo plate on the back to top it off.
Gucci has this leather shirt case that we’re really digging. It’s one of those accessories you thought you didn’t need until you came across it, but now you won’t be able to travel without one. It’s designed to keep your shirts in order and ready to go and will be perfect for your next weekend getaway where luggage space is limited. It measures in at 10″ x 15″, so it’s definitely as portable as it is refined.
From Band of Outsiders comes this Italian-made double-breasted blazer in a caramel cord shell. It’s classic with an edge and the wide-gauge cord really sets it off, as do the elbow pads, mottled brown buttons and grey striped lining. It’s double vented and also features a few inside pockets. The fall season ahead just can’t come soon enough.
Predicting where the menswear market will be in a year or two from now or even five years from now is no easy task but I sincerely believe the folks at Ovadia & Sons are one of the few in the industry that are really good at it. In past seasons, we seen them deliver product that’s modern yet timeless and downright essential. Their following is steadily growing and that can be mainly attributed to some press love and their ability to just make clothes that men want to wear.
Until now, we’ve seen only a small portion of what Schott’s Perfecto Brand will be offering up for Spring 2012. They’ve now gone ahead and released the entire lookbook for next spring, with “Northeastern sporting clubs and railroads serving as the backdrop. The locales are fitting, as vintage Americana remains the root of the line.” The Perfecto jacket will be available in some new fabrics and will work magnificently with the brand’s suede and waxed cotton pieces.
