Todd Snyder is definitely one of the front runners for menswear rookie of the year for 2011. After leaving J. Crew to start his own eponymous label, his Fall 2011 debut collection and sufficed to say it was stellar. If there was a best in show award for PROJECT, Todd Snyder would certainly be the front runner. This Fall, they are launching a line of tailored goods with Southwick and we were able to get an exclusive look into the collection. The collaboration features suits, sport coats, shirt, and ties all by Southwick for Todd Snyder. The pieces are all made in the USA with a modern fit. The jackets have lightly padded shoulders, 2 and 3 button fronts, and are easily broken down to be worn as separates (as seen in the third look). The shirts come in point and button down collars and are perfectly proportioned to work with the suiting and the ties, which come in both silk and wool. In addition to Southwick, Todd Synder also connected with Tricker’s for a collection of boots perfect for this Fall with plain toe, brogue, and Chelsea styles.
