Brooklyn Nets ‘Hello Brooklyn’ Commercial

Brooklyn Nets 'Hello Brooklyn' Commercial and Ad Campaign

The new logo of the team has been unveiled and seems the new team will opt for a black and white colorway rather than the gray, blue and red of the New Jersey Nets. Who came up with this, you ask? Minority owner Jay-Z had a hand in the new branding and design. The new ad campaign has launched as well to stir up ticket sales and raise awareness for the new look, with the tagline “Hello Brooklyn” being the central theme. Check out the 30-second spot below.

Nick Wooster | New Creative Director at J.C. Penney

Nick Wooster Named Creative Director at J.C. Penney

In some very surprising news, Nick Wooster has joined J.C. Penney as their new Creative Director. Since leaving his post as Creative Director at the Neiman Marcus Group a year ago, Nick’s been credited for doing some consulting work for both Thom Browne as well as the Gilt Groupe. He’s crafted some impeccable showings at the PROJECT Tradeshow in Vegas the past two seasons and even took a trip out to Japan to support the latest PROJECT Wooster showings. Beyond this, Nick’s collaborated directly with a few brands on some product over the past few months including Happy Socks and Leffot.

When a brand looks to revamp their entire image, it’s going to have to start with leadership. Nick joins a slew of new hires including a few former Apple execs so he’s definitely in good company. There just couldn’t have been a better time to come in as the new Creative Director than now and we wish Woost God nothing but the best.

Lamborghini Urus Concept SUV

Lamborghini Urus Concept SUV at Beijing Auto Show

Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has taken the covers off their latest concept vehicle — Urus — a Spanish breed of bull that sits somewhere between fighting size and hauling size. Though the name hit the rumor mill quite some time ago when the Estoque four door was unveiled, looks like the name is being reserved for Lambo’s SUV of the future. You won’t see it on the streets until 2005 but we’re expecting power and Lamborghini to be put a lid on the carbon emissions in the process. 50 percent of customer deliveries are aimed at the United States so expect this to be one competitive SUV, one that’s owned by some pretty impressive contention — the Range Rover Sport, Porsche Cayenne, as well as the BMW X6 M.

More looks at the Lamborghini Urus SUV below.
