Japanese label COMME des GARCONS has opened two new shops side-by-side in Berlin. Rei Kawakubo looks to fuse the brand and the city’s longstanding heritage, allowing the two shop setup to merge with its surroundings in a lively residential area. The BLACK SHOP appropriately sells the brand’s BLACK line, while the POCKET SHOP next door sells more accessories including perfumes and wallets.
