During this month’s Milan Fashion Week, Boglioli presented their S/S ’13 menswear collection in a converted factory space. The offerings ranged from their signature unconstructed jackets, garment dyed suiting and casual, tailored staples while the event featured food and drink prepared by legendary figures of classic Italian menswear including Nino Cerruti (owner of Cerruti 1884), Lucian Barbera (of Luciano Barbera), and Mario Boglioli himself.
The Spring 2013 collection draws inspiration from two American gentlemen of the 1920’s: Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald, icons of a sophisticated and timeless class. Classic elements of elegance are re-interpreted by Boglioli in a contemporary key with the addition of refined and sought-after elements.
