Rolex has unveiled a new version of the iconic GMT-Master II in white gold, putting it in elite company for enthusiasts and collectors alike. It features a “Pepsi” red and blue cerachrom bezel, the watchmaker’s cal. 3186 movement with a Parachrom hairspring with Breguet overcoil. The process of creating a two-color ceramic bezel was no easy task. Before the introduction of this beautiful GMT from Rolex, no one had managed to discover a way of manufacturing a watch component in the high-technology material with bulk coloring in two distinct colors. The quality of this process is everything you’d expect from Rolex and so it’s no surprise this watch’s components still offer exceptional scratch and corrosion resistance, while its colors are unaffected by ultraviolet rays. The Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II features a 40mm case and the ability to capture two time zones simultaneously via an ingenious mechanism operated via the winding crown. If that’s not enough, you can also display a third time zone by turning the graduated bezel the corresponding number of hours.
