A handful of German tuner cars were unveiled at Geneva this week and TECHART’s rendition of the Porsche 911 Turbo S (991) is simply exceptional. Aesthetically, you’ll notice a refined body kit, new wheels with a deeper concave on the rears, a new spoiler and other minor additions. TECHART’s about increased dynamism instead of extra frills. I mean, the new 991’s are pretty good looking stock, no? Techart’s also released a noselift system that can increase height at the front of the car by up to 65mm to help clear any speed bumps or driveways and the like.
Now to the real good stuff. The 911 Turbo S gets a performance kit that adds an additional 60 hp to the stock 560 horsepower powertrain and takes the lb-ft of torque to 612 from 516. In Sport Plus mode, look for Techart’s 911 Turbo S to go from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 204 miles per hour. Techart has also fitted their modded 911 Turbo S with a sport exhaust system with valve control that can be adjusted by the push of a button.
