Oliver Spencer’s Spring/Summer 2015 runway show took place at the Old Sorting Office of the British Fashion Council Show Space in London during London Collections: Men. In this seasonal line-up, the man behind the brand found similar inspiration from Modernist architect, Luis Barragán, to emphasize the designer’s fascination with American-style urbanization. Reflecting Barragán’s renowned Torres de Satélite, the wardrobes experiment with primary subtractive colors like red, blue, yellow, and white in different shades/shapes that inevitably blend with the remaining space. Black, as a contour color, adds structure to the palette. Key pieces include the suede and cotton Buffalo Jacket, lengthy Barragán shirts, and compact Tote Bags. The collection concludes with the constructed jacket for more flattering quality and appearance.
