Not sure where Kris Van Assche is headed with this but we’re going to turn you guys to this anyway. The designer released a teaser video entitled, “A Moment in Time” and as you’ll see from the video below, it’s really dry on details. We can’t wait to see what the designer has in store.
hard graft can do no wrong as they’ve been one of most consistent leather goods makers of our time. They’ve dropped a few new pieces as part of their Driftwood collection, with the Square1 holdall leading the pack. It features a combination of fine Italian suede and vegetable tanned leather, complimenting the brand’s iconic styles of leather and wool felt. The folks at Gear Patrol turn us to the latest creation from Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus, the Rocket 800. The German company’s rendition of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG utilizes the “standard” V12 from the current Benz E-Class and tacks on a twin turbocharger, beefing up the already ample 5.5 liter displacement to a gorging 6.3 liters. The end result is supercar with a 800 horsepower and 811 lb/ft of torque. That gives it a 0-62 mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 230 mph. Suspension and brakes have been upgraded by Brabus to withstand the power. You won’t mistake this beauty for a base model CLS or the AMG as it’s gotten hints of carbon fiber throughout the exterior.
Good thing there’s no word on price. This way, you can admire the car what it is without adding it to the list of cars we can’t afford just yet.

In theaters today is Drive, an action-packed thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. The Gos stars as a Los Angeles wheelman for hire, stunt driving for movie productions by day and steering getaway vehicles for armed heists by night. We’ll let the trailers below breakdown the details but from the shots we’ve seen, we’re sure the movie will deliver on many accounts. Also, we couldn’t help but to notice Ryan’s impeccable taste (brown leather driving gloves) shining through in this role in a more understated manner, so this may be worth checking out for style inspiration alone.

For those not familiar, the Goodwood Revival is the premier UK classic car event and is world renowned, being ranked alongside events such as the Classic Lemans. The event is set in the grounds of Goodwood house and around the famous Goodwood motor racing circuit, a track which was home to many sports car races during the 1950s and 60s, a racing era Aston Martin heavily influenced, if not dominated, with cars such as the DB4 Zagato and drivers such as Stirling Moss.
