Here we have another trailer for the movie adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. The Roaring Twenties; the Golden Age; the Jazz Age; Prohibition and bootleggers; flappers and speakeasies; peaked lapels, shorter jackets, and fedoras–what is not to love?

“The Great Gatsby” follows would-be writer Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire) as he leaves the Midwest and comes to New York City in the spring of 1922, an era of loosening morals, glittering jazz, bootleg kings, and sky-rocketing stocks. Chasing his own American Dream, Nick lands next door to a mysterious, party-giving millionaire, Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio), and across the bay from his cousin, Daisy, and her philandering, blue-blooded husband, Tom Buchanan. It is thus that Nick is drawn into the captivating world of the super rich, their illusions, loves and deceits. As Nick bears witness, within and without of the world he inhabits, he pens a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy, and holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles.

This new trailer also showcases some new music that will be featured on the soundtrack, mainly a stand-out cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” by Beyoncé and André 3000. Jay-Z executive produced the soundtrack and also has a track with other notables on the tracklist including Jack White, The xx, Florence and the Machine, and Lana Del Rey.

NorthernGRADE, a Made-in-America menswear market produced by Pierrepont Hicks, is scheduled to do a pop-up shop in downtown Los Angeles next week with Apolis playing host. There are some great brands participating and it’s a great time to meet the people who created them. Some of the brands on the roster this time include 3sixteen, Baldwin Denim, Rogue Territory, The Hill-Side, The Windmill Club and many more. If you are in the area on April 6th or 7th, be sure to stop by — if not for the clothes, then at least for the food and drinks!

H&M has announced that Beyoncé will be the face of its summer campaign. Beyoncé is set kick off her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour on April 15th and will be appear in television and print ads featuring pieces from H&M summer collection. The print and outdoor billboards introduce “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M”, the idea that all women can be all things: strong, vulnerable, sensual, maternal, fun, flirtatious. The campaign was shot in Nassau in the Bahamas by photographers Inez & Vinoodh, while the commercial was directed by Jonas Åkerlund. The clothing will be available beginning May in H&M stores worldwide and online.

Frank Ocean caught the interest of Band of Outsiders founder and creative director Scott Sternberg, so much so that the label commissioned the R&B artist to showcase their Spring 2013 collection. The Polaroid-style lookbook is on par with delivery of lookbooks from past seasons but the tux Frank wears is exceptional and everything we’ve come to expect from Band of Outsiders. Mr. Sternberg was behind the lens as they shot the lookbook oustide the Los Angeles Times Building.

This is in fact the first batch of photos from the lookbook featuring Frank in a Band of Outsiders peak lapel tux in the SoCal sun. Expect the rest of the lookbook to be released throughout the rest of the week via their Tumblr and Instagram accounts.

The Steven Alan Home Shop is now open in the New York neighborhood of Tribeca. The team worked with folks at Fort Standard to transform their old office space, and brought in items from Steven Alan himself as well as some of the team’s favorite vendors, from cookware to frozen foods. Steven Alan also teamed up with local furniture designer Jason Pickens on a limited line of made-to-order sofas and even collaborated with Brooklyn Glass on a collection of glassware.

The Steven Alan Home Shop is now open at 158 Franklin Street.

Here, we have a look at GANT Rugger’s Fall 2013 collection, one which delivers a lineup that’s a bit more casual but with even more attention given to the finest details, fabrics and finishes. Todd Selby recently took a trip to shoe and bag designer Christian Louboutin’s Home and Studio in Paris, France. The imagery provides a glimpse into the life of the designer, showcasing things such as the interior design of his home to an outstanding footwear collection that’s brought him to international acclaim. GQ’s officially announced that Beyoncé will grace the cover of the magazine’s February 2013 issue. The issue is special for not only having Queen B on the cover but also because it’s dubbed “The 100 Sexiest Women of the 21st Century” issue, bringing praise to some of the most beautiful women to have walked God’s Green Earth. Expect Meghan Fox, Kate Upton, Mila Kunis and many others. This is just the cover shot but tomorrow, GQ‘s releasing ALL of their photos of Beyoncé, the first of their 100 Sexiest Women of the 21st Century.
