Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg ended this year’s Coachella weekend with one amazing performance, filled with some memorable appearances from the likes of Eminem, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, Warren G, and several others. That didn’t seem to be enough for the West Coast duo as they even brought on 2Pac in hologram form to do two tracks. The cost? Nearly half a milli. Ahead of a slated Good Friday release, DJ Clue got his hands on G.O.O.D. Music‘s first single — “Mercy”. This is just a day after Ye dropped a solo track in the form of “Theraflu” that’s been the trending for the past 24 hours. Big Sean, Pusha T, Kanye West and 2 Chainz are all on this five-minute banger, though we’re still a shortwhile away from getting an untagged version (Single officially drops via iTunes at Midnight EST). Google X, the California-based tech company’s low key development lab, has been developing this among several other creations for quite some time now and they’ve finally decided to let us in on what they’re cooking up. “A team within our Google[x] group started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment.” It’s a more vivid picture of what’s to come — augmented reality eyewear that puts the world at your eyelids. Imagine being able to ditch your beloved smartphone and go hands free while controlling and seeing navigation prompts through your shades. There’s a ton more we’ve yet to learn about Project Glass but atleast now our mouths are watering. Check the video below to see what the geniuses over at Google have envisioned thusfar. 3×1′s Scott Morrison has teamed up with famed photographer Ben Watts to deliver this limited edition series of skateboards for charity. Lovely ladies Jessica Hart (pictured), Lake Bell, Elsa Hosk, Behati Prinsloo and Chanel Iman were shot in 3×1 jeans and little else for five board designs including 3×1’s logo along with Ben’s signature diamond motif and Hipstamatic lens borders. There are only 60 sets in total with all profits going to the charity of the models’ choice. Pre-order all five for $400 or individual decks at $100 each through 3×1 now.

Stone Island has opened a new location for their London flagship store, moving to 79 Brewer Street, at the crossroads of Soho, Piccadilly Circus and Regent Street. Just a reminder that Mad Men‘s back tonight with a two-hour season premiere. After taking 17 long months off, the show’s back and when 9 PM (EST) hits, rest assured we’ll be in front the screen catching every moment and giving some commentary on Twitter along the way.
Now through Saturday, Audemars Piguet will be running an exhibition marking the 40th anniversary of their historic Royal Oak. The Park Avenue armory houses 100 timepieces, many of which have never been unveiled to the public. Expert some amazing modern art to be showcased at the exhibit as well. Dan Holdsworth’s photopraphy of the Vallée de Joux, where Audemars Piguet is based will be on display, alongside artist Davide Quayola’s installations experimenting with photography, geometry, sculpture and audiovisuals; and Sebastian Leon Agneessens’s multi-channel sound installation. Hodinkee shot a pretty solid video of the exhibition pre-launch so there’s a lot to check out in terms of how the space transformed into what you will see if you get a chance to stop in.
IWC has made a one-of-one timepiece to honor Muhammad Ali at this month’s annual Celebrity Fight Night event. The event was founded in 1994 by Jimmy Walker as a means to raise money for local Arizone charities. This magnificent watch comes is white gold and features a black face with red Super-LumiNova, and a black alligator leather strap in red that’s meant to represent the hue of traditional boxing gloves. There’s a special inscription that reads “Edition Muhammad Ali, ONE OUT OF ONE.” on the case back alongside Ali’s signature. The ‘Muhammad Ali’ Big Pilot’s Watch will be auctioned off at the event on March 24th with all proceeds going to charity.
