Founded back in 1897, Globe-Trotter has had the privilege of making goods for many notable folks over the decades, including Winston Churchill.

Ghurka was founded back in 1975 by Marley Hodgson, and has since built up a solid reputation of being one of the finest makers of fine men’s leather accessories. The lineup has ranged from business cases and travel bags to wallets and other small leather goods, all crafted while keeping Ghurka’s iconic history intact. Ghurka has come from humble beginnings in Connecticut to being respected the world over. This video gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Ghurka’s exacting design and manufacturing processes, and even lets us hear from longtime Ghurka artisans and collectors.

Canada’s Raised by Wolves releases looks for their S/S ’13 collection, showcasing a wide range of pieces. The brand’s tees continue to impress as we’re seeing some beach-friendly attire as well as a tribute to the great Big L. The headwear this time around comes in the form of 5 panels, 6 panels and snapbacks with two trucker hats tossed into the mix as well. Also look for Canadian-made pullovers, hoodies, and oxford shirts to round out the offerings.

The Nike Free Powerlines+ II are offered up in a fresh color way for the summer months, this time featuring an almond brown shell. The mesh and nubuck upper are almond while the lining of the show is actually more of a darker shade of brown. Mustard yellow can also be seen on some of the details like the Dynamic Flywire eyelets and the heel tab. All this rests atop a speckled white Nike Free midsole, just in time for the summer.

Last week, Dior Homme hosted its first ever fashion show in Beijing at the city’s Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) Museum. Previously shown in Paris, designer Kris Van Assche put the label’s F/W ’13 collection on display while adding in exclusively produced tuxedos for the Chinese market. The Dior Homme man now looks to the future with optimism…What I wanted to convey in the collection this season is rigor, calm and control. This is a confident, self-made man in a multitude of ways. He’s a self-made superhero.

Suitsupply has just opened another US store, this time setting up shop in The City of Brotherly Love. Located in Rittenhouse Square, the setup takes over an 84-year-old former hotel in the heart of Philly, bringing out everything we’ve come to expect from the European clothier. Timing is perfect as Suitsupply’s also just dropped a lot of their Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The focus this season is on rich hues and bold textures with Indigo-colored wool, linen and silk fortifying the lineup. Other standouts include denim shirts and double-breasted suits with a color palette that stretches out to burnt orange, faded red, and ochre-accented colors.

Adrien Sauvage is known for crafting modern menswear that lives by a simple philosophy – “Dress Easy” (DE). The Fall/Winter 2013 collection continues to deliver functional yet wearable pieces for which the London-based designer is now known. Inspiration comes this time from Jean-Michel Basquiat and 1970s graffiti art as well as contemporary tailoring, bringing forth a line that’s filled with classic pieces in a slimmer cut and tossed across a vast color palette and unique prints.

For Spring/Summer 2013, Patrik Ervell looked to blend “a California mindset” with downtown sophistication, ultimately bringing out a fresh take on Americana. Look for a range of solid sportswear like nylon bombers, parkas, and quilted outerwear with an emphasis on technical detailing and function. The designer still manages to keep a minimalistic approach with refined tailoring to boot. Look for Patrik Ervell’s S/S 2013 collection to be available through Ervell boutiques as well as Patrick Ervell online.

From Mismo comes an appropriately understated collection for the fall and winter months ahead, with some much welcomed twists weaved into the fold as well. For F/W 2013, Mismo introduces the highest number of new bags it’s ever done for a single collection, making it quite exciting to see the label expand to appeal to a larger audience while still staying true to their foundation in quality and design. The sophisticated new design scheme mixes the refined feel of the Full-Grain collection with the laid-back appeal of the M/S Fabric collection, providing some added versatility to the range. Look for some bold new fabrics in the mix as well including a rainbow camo PVC and an indigo nylon/linen blend.

Look for the Mismo Fall/Winter 2013 collection to be carried by select retailers including Mr. Porter, Barneys, Opening Ceremony and C’H'C’M to name a few.
