When it comes to sneakers, everyone can agree that the Converse All Star is about as classic as you can get. They were fly when your parents were young and they are still showing up on runway shows and lookbooks today. On top of being stylish, they can take a beating. I have had the same pair of Chucks since 2003 and they are still going strong.

We’re really impressed with the S/S ’11 offerings from Folk. The pieces are well -made, fit really well and feature some distinct detailing. This shirt comes in a flecky slub fabric and features stitched elbow patches of the same blue finish.
From Helmut Lang comes this beige-colored overshirt in a lightweight twill fabric. It features signature belt strap on the inside and two-button adjustable cuffs. The fit is what attracts us most as Helmut Lang’s cut is known to be fairly slim and couple that with the soft shell, we get a summer shirt that’ll work through an array of settings.
Every man should own one pair of interesting footwear and Yuketen’s 2-Tone Camp Mocs are an excellent decision. Made in the USA from fine leathers, they actually feature three colors: brown, navy, and forest green. The understated nature of the hues make them easy to pair with outfits, and the classic silhouette makes sure that they’re stylish without being distracting.
Mark McNairy’s dropping some great neckwear for the summer including this navy piece with shark print throughout. It’s American made from English silk and comes in a lighter blue as well.
Visvim has created a classic: a simple, luxurious varsity jacket made of goat suede. It’s water repellent, so no need to worry about getting caught in a light shower, and raglan sleeves insure a comfortable fit in the shoulders. The rust and butter cream colors are classic and versatile as well. This jacket is perfect for spring but not the easiest to get a hold of. Godspeed.
If there is one menswear piece that is having it’s moment in the sun it’s the unstructured blazer. Jack Spade has an excellent option for the guy looking for a more casual look. It is an unlined cotton/linen blend making it a perfect go-to jacket for the summer. It has three patch pockets, two functioning sleeve buttons, and a classic three button front. It’s a relaxed alternative to more refined, traditional blazers.
What can we say about Thom Browne oxfords that hasn’t already been said before. They have become the gold standard, more or less, in men’s shirting. From the construction to the details you just cannot go wrong. We love how he maintains the simplicity of the oxford on the exterior but provides subtle interior details that the wearer can decide whether or not he wants to show. A white oxford is certainly an essential piece of every man’s wardrobe. From job interviews to a casual night on the town, this will be your go-to piece.
