When it comes to sneakers, everyone can agree that the Converse All Star is about as classic as you can get. They were fly when your parents were young and they are still showing up on runway shows and lookbooks today. On top of being stylish, they can take a beating. I have had the same pair of Chucks since 2003 and they are still going strong.

We’re really impressed with the S/S ’11 offerings from Folk. The pieces are well -made, fit really well and feature some distinct detailing. This shirt comes in a flecky slub fabric and features stitched elbow patches of the same blue finish.

From Helmut Lang comes this beige-colored overshirt in a lightweight twill fabric. It features signature belt strap on the inside and two-button adjustable cuffs. The fit is what attracts us most as Helmut Lang’s cut is known to be fairly slim and couple that with the soft shell, we get a summer shirt that’ll work through an array of settings.
