Union LA has taken their first delivery of footwear for the Fall 2012 season and, as you can see, they’re starting things off right. They’ve taken stock of a few high-in-demand Visvim pieces including the Grizzly Mid FOLK, Yucca Moc Mid, and FBT Shaman. Belgian label Bellerose has released their F/W ’12 lookbook, one that’s infused a ton of American influence. Since their inception in 1989, they’ve been crafting workwear-inspired menswear pieces and they’ve done a damn good job. The Fall 2012 lineup is filled with timeless offerings for the colder months ahead including a duffle coat made in collaboration with British designer Nigel Cabourn. More looks from Bellerose below.
Tomorrow, Billy Reid will be opening the doors to their first store in Austin, Texas. The store, located at 1122 West 6th, and is the designer’s third store in the Lone Star State. It embodies all things Reid while still taking much influence from the surrounding Old West Austin community. Antique furnishings and rustic wood tables are set against bright white painted walls, with eclectic sculptures from artist Butch Anthony hanging above. More shots below.

Band of Outsiders has released looks for their upcoming Fall 2012 collection, this time commissioning actor Josh Brolin to sport the goods. The lookbook was shot at The Sunset Ranch Hollywood in Los Angeles by the label’s designer Scott Sternerg, bringing forth a Western theme to the fall lineup. More images below.
From Italy-based aoúd comes an exceptional line of men’s jewelry. The label is does an amazing job blending natural stones in an array of finishes with silver and brass pendants, with seeds and coloured tassels of fabric. There’s a really ancient feel to the pieces with much symbolism and infusion of various cultures to come to very unique designs. We had the opportunity to try one of aoúd‘s pieces and we have to say the detail and craftsmanship is everything we expected and more. The look and feel of the necklaces are masculine and wearable and we’re really glad to see the label begin to pick up stockists in the United States. More looks at the collection below.
Columbus-based Homage recently teamed up with well-known Ebbets Field Flannels for their take on the classic baseball cap. They took a swooshed H and threw it against a rich red wool shell and added their logo print on the back for good measures. The result is a high-quality product made right here in the USA.
Por Vocacao has just taken stock of their largest ever drop from Buttero and it’s one worth checking out. Atop the list of products are two styles of their classic suede sneakers reworked for A/W ’12. Available in both a hi-top and low-top silhouette, the latest sneakers present the same quality construction the Italian brand is historically known for, with vegetable tanned leather (suede) uppers mounted on smooth style rubber soles and featured alongside contrast toe caps and other nifty details. For this AW12, however, Buttero have scuffed the soles a bit, giving the new sneakers a slightly broken-in look.

MR PORTER took some time out to chat with the lead of one of the restaurant world’s most influential families as the Cipriani Downtown Ibiza restaurant recently opened up inside the Ibiza Gran Hotel. Mr. Giuseppe Cipriani’s grandfather opened the legendary Harry’s Bar in Venice in 1931 and the brand has been flourishing ever since, now with a reputation that’s entering a fourth generation. The Cipriani name defines class and Mr. Cipriani is nothing short of that himself. The face of the Cipriani name discusses his love for the Art Deco movement, racing, and why they decided to set up shop in Ibiza amongst other things. Hodinkee gives us a look at MB&F’s latest creation — the HM3 Poison Dart Frog. Their infamous HM3 Frog is comes in a black PVD-coated zirconium case against the 18k yellow gold screws and 22k yellow gold rotor. The contrasting details are magnificent but the looks run deeper. It’s designed after an actual poison dart frog, or Dendrobates Leucomela, whose black and yellow camouflage protects him in his natural habitat. Max Büsser and Co. have tweaked this beauty to perfection and with it being the very special piece it was crafted to be, there will only be ten pieces made available. Singapore’s Hour Glass will be the only retailer getting these.
