Urban Outfitters is taking their store on the road to visit four cities over the next four weeks. The fully functioning mobile mini store is made from two 20′ x 8′ shipping containers and will be stocked with a little bit of everything. Dockers joined the project by helping to create a mobile art gallery, which is headlined by South Caroline based artist Hollis Brown Thornton, alongside four up and coming artists from the Southeast. The Gallery showcases each artist’s version of khaki using raw Dockers ‘Alpha’ Khaki material.

Throughout October, the store will be traveling 928 miles across the Southeast United States with stops in Columbia, SC, Athens, GA, Tallahassee, FL and Knoxville, TN.

I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Grenson and Barbour, two of the UK’s finest brands, have teamed up for a capsule collection for the ages. To start things off, Grenson has produced a limited range of footwear that focuses on quality and aesthetics over quantity. This collaboration represents the hundreds of skilled hand operations that go into both a pair of hand crafted shoes and a Barbour jacket. Look for the offerings to be available through a select number of retailers in extremely limited numbers.

We’re just days away from Uniqlo opening the doors to their second flagship store, this time invading Fifth Avenue in New York City. The 89,000 sq. ft. space is vast and will look to further advance the brand’s progress here in the states. Uniqlo will be unveiling new partnerships and activities in the weeks ahead to celebrate the opening. We’ve already heard about their outdoor roller skating rink in Meatpacking and we’re sure there will be other events of the sort coming up as well. The store opens on October 14 (this Friday), while Uniqlo is opening their third American store at NYC’s 34th Street just a week later on October 21st. (via GQ)

We showcased a preview of Fine and Dandy Shop’s Fall 2011 offerings a short while back, but we’re glad to see the boys are giving us some inspirational styling via this lookbook. As stated before, their neckwear is really some of our favorite stuff on the market and to see them progress as swiftly as they have is not surprising. Need Supply of Virginia has dropped a lookbook showcasing their offerings for the Fall/Winter 2011 season. There’s some great styling and the shots are well taken. Like something you see? Buttero have redesigned their hiking boot for Fall 2011, blessing them with premium suede uppers and sheep wool tongue and lining. These look undeniably comfortable and will surely deliver the warmth when time comes. They’re handcrafted in Italy and come in beige or brown. Fine details include brass eyelets with leather lacing and a contrast leather detail at heel. Leather midsoles and Vibram outsoles with stitched welt give these boots a solid foundation.
