Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen presented their F/W 2013 collection earlier today and not only did we get a chance to check out the label’s men’s collection, but today also marked the debut of its women’s collection. Micah looked to infuse the philosophy behind the Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen men’s line and translate it into a women’s collection. As for the men’s offerings, expect Cohen’s signature slim suiting, athletic-inspired knits and outerwear including baseball jackets and boiled wool overcoats. Taking a cue from his S/S ’13 collection, Cohen included more color than in previous fall collections, in rich autumnal colorblocking seen throughout.

Introducing Vietto, a New York-based outerwear label that looks to deliver top-notch, military-inspired product. The focus is on a refined take on classic military outerwear with infusion of hefty wool coating, laser cut horn buttons, and Vilene interfacing. Look for a hearty silhouette, staunch fabrications, and subdued color palette. What really caught our eyes about Vietto is that their pieces can appeal to both the young and old and doesn’t restrict itself to one consumer type or region. These pieces are versatile and can be applied over suiting and brogues or a denim jacket and boots.
We’re expecting Vietto to be available through fine retailers this coming fall.

Saturdays Surf NYC has teamed up with French retailer colette for a collaboration that injects Saturdays’ clean and function aesthetic with colette’s sense of whimsy playfulness. The end result is a unisex lineup comprised of accessories, printed tee shirts and board shorts, all adorning both colette’s signature blue spheres and Saturdays’ slash logo. Each piece traverses the lifestyles of a Parisian cultural insider and a dynamic New York professional with a penchant for surfing.
We’ve been fans of colette in Paris for a long time. We jumped at the opportunity to collaborate on a capsule collection for this spring. We produced a unique print based on the colors and shapes in our
brands and the Saturdays classic silhouettes.
Together the designers have created a line that is sleek and style forward, yet still suggestive of the humorous and energetic lifestyle these brands embody. The Saturdays x colette collaboration is available now exclusively at colette and Saturdays locations, as well as Saturdays online.

From the Netherlands comes Mujjo, a brand known for crafting minimalistic yet functional products. In 2012, Mujjo first began developing sleeves for Apple devices such as the iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air as well as the MacBook Pro. The brand’s The Originals collection features a unique combination of wool felt and high quality leather, and they recently added an iPad Mini Sleeve that fits seamlessly into Mujjo’s current product lineup. The folks over at Mujjo were kind enough to send us an iPad Mini sleeve for review and we’ve been quite impressed by its detailing and overall craftsmanship. It’s easy to carry and has a little extra space in a separate compartment that can fit your headphones, some folded documents or even a MiFi. The wool felt contrasts really well with the vegetable tanned leather and we can already tell the leather with age to perfection. The felt can be easily cleaned as a special treatment provides excellent anti-peeling properties and makes the sleeve water repellent. Aesthetically, it may be the best looking iPad Mini sleeve on the market and its ability to blend so well with the iPad Mini’s slim design is what makes it such a great accessory.
Mujjo’s iPad Mini Sleeve is available now in either brown or white leather.
