Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show was the Ferrari 599XX, a car aimed at a select group of clients incorporating the most advanced technologies from Ferrari’s road-going and F1 research. Based on the 599 GTB Fiorano, the 599XX is an extreme track car.
Expect to own the road with modifications that include a boost in the maximum revs to 9,000 rpms and a new crankshaft and carbon fiber intakes to take some weight off the engine. The new gearbox transfers power to the wheels with gearchange time cut down to 60 ms.

Hoping to get one over Apple’s App Store, Android’s Market, and Palm’s Catalog, RIM’s app store will be dubbed “Blackberry App World.” Sounds stupid. Sorry, just had to let that out. Now, back to your regular programming.
It will be going live here tonight at 10pm.

Is this suicide? We don’t think so. Amazon’s gone ahead and landed a Kindle-like app for your iPhone and iPod. You’ll have access to the same electronic books, magazines, and newspapers that Kindle owners can buy, as well as the ability to change text size, add bookmarks, note and highlight things. The non E-Ink screen is preferred by some people over the Kindle 2 but the only thing we see missing in the App Store version is the dictionary and the ability to search.

The no. 1 unit of 77 of the Aston Martin One-77 is on display at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show today. Unfortunately, the interior is still not available but we’re drooling just off the exterior. Power comes from a 7.3 V12 producing more than 700-hp. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a new 6-speed gearbox allowing the Aston Martin One-77 to spring from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 3.5 seconds. Top speed will be above 200 mph.
Shipment of the other 76 units will begin early 2010.

There’s only 10 of them so don’t be too slow in trying to get a hold of one. The total cost for the bicycle is $102,418.60 USD.
