Here’s a look inside French retailer Surface To Air’s new flagship store in New York’s Soho neighborhood. The 2,300 square-foot space was made in collaboration with famed architect Federico Masotto and will carry a full lineup of product from Surface To Air’s tremendous lineup as well as their collaboration jackets with Kid Cudi.
If you haven’t heard yet, Nike’s dropping the MAG sneaker, one you might remember from the 1989 Back to the Future II movie starring Michael J. Fox. Nike announced that 1500 pairs of this shoe will be auctioned on eBay, nikemag.eBay.com, with all net proceeds going directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The auctions have begun and will end on September 18 with 150 pairs to be posted on eBay per day for 10 days.

Though fairly young, Uniforms for the Dedicated has dropped some amazing product for the upcoming fall season. The lineup’s more experimental compared to years past as it features more relaxed fit outfits and a much welcomed dose of warmer fabrics such as wool. Other key components include organice jersey and utilization of recycle cotton across a wide range of pieces such as winter parkas and knit blazers.
As New York Fashion Week has officially kicked off, one of the first presentations to take place (off the runway) is that of New York designer Steven Alan as he showcased his Spring/Summer 2012 collection for both men and women. The looks were amazing with a good mix of simple and wearable pieces from shorts to shirts and suiting.
New to MR PORTER’s stable of fine designers is New York’s Alexander Olch. The neckwear designer has had a major influence on the industry over the past few years and his Fall 2011 offerings are looking as solid as ever. The plaid wool ties come in some great finishes with matching handkerchiefs to boot.

With Mark McNairy now serving as WWM’s Creative Directory, expect to see some of Woolrich’s upcoming product to be infused with the designer’s signature stylings. The Para Boot for Fall 2011 is a confirmation of this as it’s a style we’d expect from the designer’s New Amsterdam line. The English-made Derby wingtip-brogue boot features an upper that’s mixed with Melton wool and full-grain leather, a stacked wooden heel and a Goodyear-welt sole.
