At the same time, the social network has released their first ad, one that aligns Facebook with other things that people use to get together and connect. Here’s what Mark said on his status:

Following up on Saint Laurent’s intro video from late last week, we’ve gotten our digital hands on the label’s Spring 2013 lookbook. The French fashion house has a new Creative Director in Hedi Slimane and though the direction of Saint Laurent (formerly Yves Saint Laurent) has shifted from a branding and marketing point of view, the genius of Slimane has not. This isn’t Dior Homme but Slimane’s slim silhouette’s have made their way into the Parisian label’s S/S 2013 lineup by way of trim garments, sharp tailoring, leather trousers, biker jackets and denim.
