Miami-based Del Toro presents their Margom Sole Collection. They’ve taken one of their most popular models, the Alto Chukka, and blessed it with a margom sole. It’s offered in either suede or leather across a range of colorways, while the margom sole is featured in either a flecked or multicolored variety. The fine details don’t stop there as it features a leather lined interior and leather laces to top things off. The Margom Sole Collection is available now in limited numbers through Del Toro.

Tenue de Nîmes is getting set to open their second store, this time in Amsterdam’s Haarlemmerstraat district. The new store is housed in a retail space of 300m2, underneath two monumental buildings. The interior will unite the present and the past, so be prepared for unusual details. One such detail is the old mantelpiece, covered by numerous layers of wallpaper, which the new denim wall was built around.
Women’s fashion and style, men’s apparel and exclusive jeans will each get their own Tenue de Nîmes ‘domain’. Some new brands will be brought into the fold, exclusive to the new shop, including rag & bone and Les Prairies de Paris. New denim will include Imogene+Willie (European scoop) and Indigofera. The new store will also offer an unusual collection of vintage jeans from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. These hand-picked one offs were sourced at vintage stores and markets all over the world and deserve a spot in the collection of any true denim aficionado.
Mr. McNairy has been quite busy as of late as the designer’s dished out a few collaborations and still manages to keep his own brand extremely relevant. His footwear offerings for Fall ’12 look exceptional and are offered up in a wide range of styles. We’re seeing brogue-style boots, tasseled loafers, saddle shoes and some monk straps as well. Some new textures are seen here as well including a denim shell while the uppers are complimented by crepe soles and even a few of the more vibrant variety. Look for the goods to be available through select stockists including LeftFoot. (via Streething)
In 2003, Rikke Overgaard and Adam Alexander Bach launched Mismo, a bag company that looked to deliver high quality goods that were crafted from top-notch materials and fitted with minimalistic detailing. They’ve certainly succeeded as the label’s gotten global recognition and some tremendous cosigns from several major publications. They’ve taken the covers off their S/S 2013 collection, one that’s just as promising as their first and there are some distinct differences from past collections, all of which we’re happy to see. Rikke and Adam have loosened up a bit for the summer months, giving us bags that are fitted with vibrant colors and playful prints.
Mismo’s original mustard yellow makes a strong return, accompanied by new floral and denim-inspired materials, and a handful of new bags. The new styles are actually some of the most versatile bags we’ve seen on the market, as they allow you to shift from office to gym to a weekend getaway with ease. There’s no real label to each, so you can grab the one you dig the most and mold it to your lifestyle.
Mismo‘s S/S ’13 collection is quite extensive and we’ve got looks at our favorite pieces below.
Profound Aesthetic is at it again, this time dropping their “Beauty in the Wild” collection. The late summer offerings range from tees, polos and tanks to must-have accessories like leather wristwear and snapbacks. It’s all really great stuff but their 5-panel hats stood out to us the most. There’s an animalistic element to the Cheetah-print variety but softer floral-print options are tossed into the mix as well. Our favorite? The maroon paisley hat. It’s made from a cotton shell and features a brown suede brim that’s meshed with a green under-visor. Talk about striking gold. All the goods are available now through Profound Aesthetic but you can them at select retailers as well, Urban Outfitters and Nordstrom included.

Suitsupply continues to impress as they’ve just released their first collaboration with online retailer Park & Bond. It comes in the form of a slim-fitting double breasted suit, a piece both teams had a hand in developing. The shell’s done in navy wool Super 130′s birdseye from Vitali Barberis Canonico with horn buttons, surgeon’s cuffs, and a completely deconstructed shoulder. It looks great and with Suitsupply‘s reputation of crafting pieces that fit and feel great as well, we’re confident this suit is an essential pick up.
Buy it exclusively through Park & Bond for the extremely accessible price of $569. If this isn’t an impulse buy you won’t regret, I just don’t know what is.
