Like us, we’re sure many of you have visited The Bureau’s online shop and have been impressed by their offerings and vision. And like us, we’re sure many of you have never seen the inside of their actual storefront located in Belfast. They’ve dropped a short video that gives highlights of the products on hand and gives us a look at the inside of their shop.
Selectism and Tumi have teamed up to create a completely new bag in Tumi’s lineup — the Alpha Four-in-One Duffle Bag. The bag’s versatility is tremendous as it includes a main packing case, a zip out laptop case, a zip out tote and a zip out camera case. The shell is made from ballistic nylon and trimmed in leather while the duffle’s lined with polyester in a striped print. You’ll get a ton of utility from this bag if you travel often and even more if those trips are on the shorter side. This way, you’ll have a duffle that can fit your clothes and you can pull out the tote and laptop case for when you’re on the go, leaving everything else at the hotel.

IWC Schaffhausen, the official sponsor of the Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing team, has released the Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph Edition “Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012″ to coincide with the official start of this “Everest’ of sailing. For those not familiar, the Volvo Ocean Race takes the world’s most dedicated and skilled sailors around the world in nine race legs, testing them at every moment. It gets under way with the In-Port Race at the Spanish port of Alicante and takes in six continents and four oceans before the crews hit the final stretch in the summer of 2012 in Galway, Ireland. The voyage tacks 39,270 nautical miles (72,728 km), putting the crews in some tough tides, ice-cold storms, 15-metre-high waves and much more.
This special edition Portuguese honors this unparalleled race and the crews’ outstanding achievements. It’s made from titanium and is functional, highly reliable and elegant as well. IWC delivers a beauty that’s water-resistant to 6 bar and fatures a screw-in crown with crown protection, giving it a rugged edge that can withstand just about anything. The IWC-manufactured 89361-calibre movement is on the inside and is fitted with a fly back function as well as an analogue display with two hands in a sub dial for long stop times. For a challenge as demanding as the Volvo Ocean Race, the black rubber strap with folding clasp closure is perfect and the sapphire-glass back adds to the aesthetics of this timeless watch. The engraving “Edition Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012″ can be seen on the back of this well-designed and impeccably crafted chronograph.
The folks at Gear Patrol have never ceased to amaze us with their work ethic, creativity and their relentless approach for doing the epic. Case in point, the team’s recent West Coast Blitz with two sets of keys in hand — one for the 2012 Nissan GT-R and another for the 2012 Black Diamond Edition Cadillac CTS-V. Their excuse? To get a cup of Joe from Blue Bottle Coffee, a local sensation in San Francisco. The problem was they were in LA. 400 miles between them and their Blue Bottle, they hit the road with 1,100 horses combined. Round trip — that’s 800 miles of pure adrenaline and lucky for us, they got it all on camera.
Watch the video below and catch the full spread over at Gear Patrol.
In part 1 of our week with the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C350 Coupe, we gave you all a look at the exterior of the newly designed beauty. We drove the C350 Coupe everywhere — work, play, errands and, yes, shopping. We can go to the mall anytime but we really wanted to see how the car would handle on a slightly longer distance and so we decided to take our first ever trip to Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets. It’s a short while outside of New York City and the drive is as relaxing as it is scenic. We won’t be disclosing what we bought but here’s how it all went down.
Ronnie Fieg drops another momentous shoe as part of his ongoing collaboration with Sebago. This time, the designer’s opted to drop this whip stitch boot in two different colorways, both perfect for the cooler season upon us. The traditional Docksides outsole is dropped for a revised Campside sole, with a slight wedge in the back for added detail. The whip stitch on the toebox make the Seneca boot really stand out and when paired with the brown laces, it really turns out to be a special project. The Seneca boot is limited to 360 pairs per color and retails at $150 USD. Both colors will be today at 11am EST at Kith Brooklyn and Ronniefieg.com.
We’ve always been fans of Alpha Industries and military-worn outerwear. the N-3B is one of our favorite parkas on the market and this collaborative effort with uniform experiment adds some minute details to a classic jacket. Beyond the ribbed cuffs, everything has stayed the same as the co-branded parka looks to preserve as much of the authentic design and construction as possible. This N-3B will drop on October 29th through select uniform experiment retailers.
