A move that’s long overdue, The Brothers Corsillo have finally taken their highly successful Hickoree’s online shop and opened their first brick and mortar establishment. Situated in the South Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY, the shop is a floor under their office where brothers Sandy and Emil have run both Hickoree’s as well as The Hill-Side over the past few years. The product’s as diverse as it is online with everything from wiffle ball bats and Blue Cow soap to parkas from Owner/Operator and new packs from Epperson Mountaineering. The shop recently collaborated with Fair Ends for two wool caps, both of which are available in-store now. (via Secret Forts)

From S.E.H Kelly comes another fall essential, this time in the form of a biscuit-colored lambswool rollneck jumper with inset slouch pockets on the side-seams. The details are immense but that’s something we’ve come to expect from the British brand. The soft, pliable lambswool is spun in Yorkshire in a light brown or “biscuit” finish that’s seldom seen on the market, making this piece a rare find. We’re really impressed with the construction as the chest and back of the sweater are finished in a warm, dense moss-stitch while the rest of the body and arms feature a lighter plain-stitch.

There’s just something about freezing your toes off that turns me off to the entire winter months. There’s plenty of gear available to help insulate our bodies but very few brands are dishing out the goods to protect our toes from frost bite. I’m really talking extremes here but it’s good to know that a brand like The Superior Labor is looking to deliver the entire package. Their socks are hand made from thick polyester polyurethane in Japan and with the utmost care. The colorways are phenomenal as well as they will surely add some color to your muted winter ensembles.
