The folks at Gear Patrol turn us to the latest creation from Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus, the Rocket 800. The German company’s rendition of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG utilizes the “standard” V12 from the current Benz E-Class and tacks on a twin turbocharger, beefing up the already ample 5.5 liter displacement to a gorging 6.3 liters. The end result is supercar with a 800 horsepower and 811 lb/ft of torque. That gives it a 0-62 mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 230 mph. Suspension and brakes have been upgraded by Brabus to withstand the power. You won’t mistake this beauty for a base model CLS or the AMG as it’s gotten hints of carbon fiber throughout the exterior.
Good thing there’s no word on price. This way, you can admire the car what it is without adding it to the list of cars we can’t afford just yet.
