Revealed: Lamborghini Reventon Roadster [Frankfurt]

So what can 1.1 Million Euros get you these days? How about an open-top two seater like no other on the road? Lamborghini’s released its latest bull to the masses, the Reventon Roadster, a 660-hp coupe that goes from 0-62 in 3.4 seconds and tops out at 205mph.

What happens if you rollover at high-speeds? Lamborghini has fitted two pop-up bars behind the two seats that “deploy upwards in just a few hundredths of a second in the event of an imminent rollover.”

Only 20 Reventon Roadsters will be produced at 1.1 Million Euros ($1.6 million USD) each, at Lamborghini’s Sant’Agata Bolognese facility.

Leaked: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG [Frankfurt]

Leaked: 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG [Frankfurt]

Our friends over at egmCarTech have blessed the masses with images of the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. It’s suppose to make its debut in the coming days at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show but some people couldn’t keep the goods in their stomach. Although we’ve seen just about everything there is to see of the beauty, the new leaked images just make us want the flagship even more.

Power comes from a 6.2L V8 making 563-hp with a maximum torque of 479 lb-ft of torque. Mated to an E-SELECT system that controls the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission, the SLS AMG can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.8 seconds (with the Race Start launch control system) with a top speed of 196 mph.

Brabus SV12 R: 750 Horses, 211 mph [Frankfurt Motor Show]

Brabus SV12 R [2009 Frankfurt Motor Show]

With a slightly more aggressive shell, it’s hard to fathom such a luxurious beauty to have the brains to match. Brabus took the S600 and turned it into a 750 hp wonder that’s blessed with even more refinements than its OEM counterpart.  Adding 240 horses to any engine is no easy task but with the long established history of Brabus and their dedication to the trade, we’re not surprised at anything they accomplish.

With a few engine modifications, including forged pistons, tweaked cylinder heads, revised camshafts, a new crankshaft, larger turbochargers, a more efficient intercooler, a high-performance stainless-steel exhaust, and an uprated ECU, the SV12 R is delivered as probably they most complete Brabus to date.

The interior’s gotten some not-so-welcomed enhancements, as we’re not big fans of ditching hand-crafted leather for Ikea fabrics.

2010 Bentley Mulsanne Bids Farewell to Arnage [New Grand Bentley]

2010 Bentley Mulsanne

Today at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance in Monterey, California, Bentley Motors dropped jaws as it unveiled the replacement to the iconic Arnage. The Bentley Mulsanne, which we’ve come to know as the New Grand Bentley, is a deserving substitute, as it’s got all the makings of a flagship masterpiece. When production begins next year, don’t expect it to be a simple task, as nothing usually is with the Winged B carmaker. One Mulsanne will require 40 hours of labor for workers to finish the hand-made interior woodwork. Today’s unveiling was slim on performance and spec details but all of that will be released next month in Frankfurt.
