The folks at A King of Guise give us a much-welcomed preview of their “Viva la Mexico” collection. The offerings are influenced by the Mexican artifacts found at the Weltkulturen Museum of Frankfurt and feature some of AKOG’s finest pieces infused with new fabrics and colorways. We spied the label’s reversible bomber in a rich tan finish that looks like a must-have. Expect the collection to release through AKOG’s webstore soon.

We recently gave you the A Kind of Guise Fall 2012 preview but here’s what they’re offering up for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. The pieces are really solid and come in a really inviting color palette. Look for a good mix of blues and a pop of salmon here and there as well. From Munich based brand A Kind of Guise comes a look at their latest work — The Kilim Project. About two years ago, they took a trip to the Middle East and ended up buying used carpets from almost every country located around the Persian Gulf. Every carpet is hand knitted and a few of them date back to the 19th century. Over the years, they’ve collected more than 50 carpets to make a limited collection of 100 bags. Each bag is unique and handmade to perfection. Look for these to be available on November 28th.
