Selectism turns us to Makr’s latest creation — a tool roll bag made collaboratively with the folks at Deus. The Florida-based brand individually crafted 50 units, each produced using #10 cotton duck Martexin waxed canvas and premium Horween leather. It’s well-made and looks be quite sturdy with 7 spanner pockets, 7 socket pockets, 2 utility pouches for drivers and the stash. More info can be found through Deus.

Libero Ferrero showcased their latest offerings at this month’s Pitti Uomo in Florence and we’ve been fortunate enough to get some early detailed shots of the goods. The Balfour Carryall is a minimalistic design coming in at the perfect size with all the proper detailings we’d expect from the Lafferty brothers. The shell’s made from authentic Horween leather, contrasted with gold zip closure and features an extra-wide mouth for easy accessibility to a generous interior space which is lined with an antimicrobial and waterproof lining. The internal zipper pocket is padded with signature wool to protect your iPad, laptop or other personal items.

While Pitti is taking place in Florence, some of retailers are giving us the opportunity to grab some Fall 2012 offerings a bit early. Frans Boone has taken stock of a ton of Pre-fall product, including a heavy dose of Brunello Cucinelli. Though the offerings are vast, we’ve really taken a liking to these wool, cashmere, and cotton pochettes from the Italian label. A few solid ones with contrasting trimmings as well as two of the polka dot print variety, the pieces are equal parts modern and elegant. Purchase them now through Frans Boone.

Well, if blessing New York with an amazing pop-up of vintage watches a few months back wasn’t enough, our friends at HODINKEE have setup a similar offering for folks in the Bay area for this weekend. Mission-based retailer Taylor Stitch is playing host to the first ever West Coast HODINKEE pop-up store and we’ve got a preview of what to expect before making your way over to Valencia Street. Beyond all the timepieces, HODINKEE is bringing along some of the goods from their online shop which offers up Italian-made watch straps and pouches for your most valuable possessions.

The offerings will range from classics to cult watches like a vintage IWC Ingenieur and Omega Bullhead chrono, to a veritable British Military issued mono-pusher chrono from Lemania. We have really special collector’s pieces like an early Heuer Carrera Dato from 1967 with a black dial (try to find another one for sale right now), to one of the rarest vintage Rollies around – the Ref 1530 (an automatic watch in the case usually used for quartz – aka Rolex’s answer to the Royal Oak and their first watch with a sapphire crystal).

SUPER, known for their modern sunglass designs, have released their OPTICAL line, their first ever range of eyeglasses. They’ve essentially taken some of their top silhouettes and reworked them into eyeglasses, offering up some really diverse pieces.
