If you thought Ace Hotel properties were well-designed, wait until you see the press kits The Official Manufacturing Company cooked up for Ace Portland. “After a successful year with a temporary press kit for Ace Portland, the hotel expanded into multiple properties. They needed a modular press kit to accommodate a fluctuating amount of information from property to property, and they wanted it to feel like a book. Both were awarded Best Promotional Kit by Applied Arts Magazine in sequential years.”

The folks at Hypebeast turn us to Ace Hotel‘s ongoing collaboration with Generic Surplus. The Spring 2010 collection looks very promising. Although it’s a very small offering, the products are going to be must-haves on our spring wish lists. “Based off of their original collaboration seen in white, the updated versions come in two distinct colors including navy blue and gray. Within each shoe is a mostly unseen pop-color seen on the outsole which is matched up with the top eyelet.”
A tote bag’s also set to release soon so be on the lookout for that as well. Grab the sneakers at Arkitip.
