Though there have been rumors recently that Kanye West is collaborating with a French brand on a menswear collection, A.P.C. has come out and made it official. Details are next to none but the release date has been set to July 14th.
A.P.C. and Retrosuperfuture recently teamed up to make a few pieces that are all about quality and delivering them at the best possible price rather than over-the-top branding. The limited edition glasses are for both men and women, with the shell’s being composed of 100% Italian acetate with Carl Zeiss engineered lenses, and entirely hand-made in Italy.
All silhouettes were designed by A.P.C. to work back to the Spring / Summer ’13 collection and are available at A.P.C. stores and select retailers worldwide as well as A.P.C.’s online store.
A.P.C. drops their Black Sac De Voyage carryall, one that’s understated and will work for any trip you have coming up. The treated canvas shell blends effortlessly with the leather detailing. It’s got plenty of space for a few days away but can work well for overnighters or as a gym bag as well. The Black Sac De Voyage bag can be had now directly from A.P.C.
French brand A.P.C. gives us a look at their Fall 2013 collection which features a muted color palette that’s filled primarily with deep reds and blues, black and gray. There’s a collegiate influence here with the delivery of casual sweatshirts and a varsity jacket though the formal pieces aren’t forgotten. Look for well-fitting trousers and a navy double-breasted suit I was wish was in my closet yesterday.
A.P.C. celebrated their 25 year anniversary the other night with a party at their Soho boutique in New York. Afrika Bambaataa was spinning and this video was playing in the background. Founded in 1987 by Tunisian born Designer Jean Touitou A.P.C. quickly gained a cult following among Parisians and New Yorker’s for its minimalist designs and high-quality Japanese selvage denim. The design hasn’t lost his touch over the years as the brand continues to innovate and deliver on everything that’s made A.P.C. what it is today.
A.P.C. takes the classic fishtail parka and adds a removable lining for added versatility while maintaining the piece’s timeless appeal and detailing. There’s a drawstring hood and hem which makes it more adjustable and the Wool/Ramie/Nylon shell makes it proper for any weather.
Incase and French label A.P.C. have teamed up for a few accessories for your MacBooks and iPad 2s. There’s a protective sleeve for the 15″ MacBook Pro and a book jacket for the iPad 2, with both being available in two designs. One of the designs is actually exclusive to the Asia market. This capsule collection combines the nuanced look and feel of the finest selvage denim from Japan with superb device-driven design. The clean, minimalist design of the A.P.C. Book Jacket and A.P.C. Sleeve evoke the essence of simplicity, while premium denim and leather trim offer an exceptional look and feel.
A.P.C. has opened the doors to its seventh retail shop in its hometown of Paris, this one being situated at 23 Rue Royale, steps away from some of the French capital city’s finest retail destinations including Chanel, Loro Piana and Moncler. The A.P.C. store was designed by Laurent Deroo, the architect behind London’s Dover Street Market and Hong Kong’s Icehouse. Look for the St. Honoré shop to house A.P.C.’s full line of men’s and women’s collections alongside shoes, accessories and more.

We’ll be hearing about this after LBJ gets his first ring.

The pieces are still unique and worth the dollars, giving you a plethora of items to purchase from classic shirting to blazers, bags and accessories.
