Here’s a weekend size bag from Maison Martin Margiela 22, one that’s made from water repellent cotton/polyester and fitted some fine details to make it worth the dollars. We’ve been seeing some standout product here at PROJECT and one of the most consistent brands as of late happens to be CXXVI. They’ve really come a long way from selling just t-shirts and now house a stable of solid offerings. This burlap tote really stood out to us so we had to capture it in all its glory. English brand Barbour has been fitting folks in waxed cotton outerwear for decades but here’s a complimentary piece that’s been added to their line. It’s made from 100% natural cotton, lined in nylon and features premium leather details. It’s available in beige, khaki and navy and is fitted with a classic gold Barbour pull-zipper.
Here we have some looks from travel goods maker Sandquist and their Fall 2011 collection. There are several new styles in different shapes and colors, some of which are really worth checking out. Their messenger bags, backpacks, dopp kits and everything else in the line are presented with minimalist detailing that will surely be a hit for next season.
Cherchbi is set to launch a line of well-made bags for the upcoming Fall 2011 season. The brand’s looking to deliver an array of product but they’re starting things off proper with these bags fitted with tweed shells. Oh, and it’s not your ordinary tweed, folks. Their Fall 2011 collection is looking quite promising as well with a few signature styles alongside some new designs, all being offered up in several colors and materials. More detailed look below.
Unveiled at this week’s (Capsule) show in Paris was a collaboration between Schott’s Perfecto Brand and Billykirk. They’ve teamed up for an all-leather tool bag for Spring 2012. The bag’s hand made by brothers Chris and Kirk Bray with parts from California and Pennsylvania and features elements incorporated from the iconic Schott Perfecto and BillyKirk’s classic carryall. It’s made from brown and black American cowhide and is fitted with quilted nylon lining, heavy chrome zipper, exterior coin pocket and Schott Perfecto hardware. Other fine details include double drop handles, signature Billykirk luggage tag, metal hinge frame, two interior pockets and a detachable leather shoulder.
Marc by Marc Jacobs looks to deliver this leather tote bag for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2011 season. It’s made from a pebble-grained chocolate leather and features one large compartment as well as two smaller exterior pockets with buckle detailing. The vegetable-tanned leather straps and brown suede throughout the body really work well against the chocolate leather shell.

Stone Island teamed up with Ortlieb to create their “Drybags” line of duffels, messengers, and backpacks. The bags are waterproof, airtight, and buoyant. To prove this claim they gave the bags to filmmakers Lele Saveri and Giulia Mari, and what came about is a simple yet quirky video highlighting what makes Drybags so special.
