Here we have a look at Pierre Balmain, the younger line from Parisian label Balmain, and their Fall 2012 lookbook. They’ve really hit some winter essentials spot on by blending timeless designs with finer detailings of leather and warm shearling. The biker jacket stood out to us immediately as did the narrow-lapel blazers and tailored trousers. With inspiration coming from Italian and French films of the 50s and 60s, there’s a ton of authenticity, something we’ll continue to expect from Pierre Balmain for many seasons to come.

French fashion label Balmain Homme has released imagery from their Fall 2011 campaign with an emphasis on well-fitted gear that’s injected with a hint of military appeal. Coats feature decorative stripes and gold buttons while accessories like scarves and fur vests take this lineup to the next level. We hope new designer Olivier Rousteing will deliver the goods moving forward as well.
