Basil Racuk have released their classic Soft Brief bag for spring, this time finishing it in British Khaki Calfskin and lining it with vintage Moleskin. It’s a versatile bag that can used for office meetings or the accompany you on an occasional weekend getaway. They’re handmade by Basil in his northern California studio with all the materials being sourced locally in Cali as well. The bag is available now through Leffot.
At first glance, you might not think it but Basil Racuk’s Soft Brief may be the perfect companion for your next weekend getaway. It doesn’t look as large as you might need it be, but trust it’s got enough space for all the essentials if you’re packing right. Aesthetically, the bag hits really well as it’s made in a dark brown cowhide shell and lined in vintage velvet. Each bag’s handmade by Basil in his northern California studio and it’s worth noting all the materials are sourced locally.
The Basil Racuk Soft Brief is available through Leffot.
Leffot recently turned us to Basil Racuk’s latest version of the Weekender bag. It comes in a black oiled tan shell with red calf leather handles and vintage lining. It’s the perfect size for short getaways and the minimalistic design is sure to standout.
It measures 9″ x 23.5″ x 9″ and is made to order through Leffot.
This past weekend was the Basil Racuk Trunk Show at NYC shop, Leffot. The shoe shop happens to be the exclusive New York City retailer of Basil leather goods. While they have an extensive lineup of bags hitting the shop in the weeks to come, we didn’t see this iPhone case in the offerings. Like all Basil Racuk products, it’s handcrafted and given much attention to detail. Notice the leather stitch in the back and the closure strap. We really dig the card slots which may help to shrink the number of accessories we’ll be carrying around.
