It’s not everyday we get a behind the scenes look at one of our favorite brands. Mark McNairy’s New Amsterdam has seen a consistent growth over the past few years and is seen as one of America’s finest labels. Here we have a look at the making of the collection’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. It showcases a wide range of shirts, jackets, footwear, and even gives us a look at the designer’s womenswear offerings. Author Hooman Majd and Daisy McNairy model the looks.

The first video delivers a factory tour lead by Carlo himself and sets to reveal some of the top level skills that contribute to creating Stone Island garments and collections while the second video (thus far) hones in on the experimental dyeing facility and delivers insight into all the phases of the garment dyeing process.
The level of detail in which these videos go is unparalleled, folks. For anyone even remotely interested in the garment industry, these videos deliver some great knowledge from a man that is the helm of one of Italy’s finest brands.
Saturday will mark the official beginning of Menswear Fashion Week in Milan, but that doesn’t mean preparations have not already begun. Courtesy of 00o00, these photos show designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana putting the final touches on their Spring/Summer 2010 collection.
