Italian bicycle manufacturer Bianchi designed this bike helmet exclusively for Gucci. The design is stylish and comfortable and features Gucci’s black with green, red and green signature web detail. The polycarbonate shell is lightweight but extremely durable, delivering the best of both worlds alongside other fine details such as the mirrored visor and leather straps.

The broom wagon, the centerpiece of Rapha’s Cycle Club space, has finally made its way over from the UK to its new Bowery home here in New York. With a Stumptown Coffee-fuled cafe, a 36′ long community table where to enjoy as much live bicycle racing as the folks can show, we truly believe the Cycle Club will be the spot for the New Yorker with a passion for riding. This spot isn’t going to be just a retail shop. The true Rapha experience will be on display as enthusiasts will have a place to meet and further their passion for riding. We’re personally expecting the NYC location to duplicate its success from the current Cycle Club running in London.
The doors officially open this Saturday, July 3rd, with live daily showings of the Tour de France and will be open daily from 8am to 8pm until September. Rapha Cycle Club is located at 352 Bowery Street.

Come this spring, the growing family of Rapha Caps will increase by three, additions that are lighter weight than previous versions. The cycling clothing company also notes that the Cycling Cap can be worn under the helmet, the brim acting doubly as a sun visor and deterrent from the elements. However, the cap also looks good without the helmet and can be worn about town.

Momentum Magazine recently sponsored a bike fashion show in San Fran and as you can see from this Flickr set, we definitely missed out. Mention clothes and bicycles in the same breath and you’ve certainly got our attention! There’s alot that can be taken from these shots. The styling is great for inspiration and the bikes make for good eye candy. The models did a great job it seems as we didn’t hear of any falling disastrously off stage while smiling for the cameras.

We came across this beauty of a bicycle over at Hype in Japan and it’s worth a look. The Nagasawa frame is enough to blow our minds, a rare piece these days that’s only available through custom order. The Japan-based framebuilder has been sought after by elite racers in hopes of getting a frame of uncompromised accuracy and precise handling. The Campagnolo Shamal wheels are lightweight and powerful with Zaffiro white tires making the ride a smooth one. The vintage Fujita saddle is a much-welcomed touch, making the bicycle a complete work of art.

Don’t have it in you to ride your bike to your next destination? AeroTech‘s bicycle luggage might be the perfect solution as this well-shaped housing can hold your collapsed bike with space for all its parts and then some. There’s room for the essentials like two detached tires/wheels, the frame and pedals, but don’t think a metal frame is the best pairing with this. Stick to the aluminum or carbon fiber bicycles, and if you don’t have one yet, we suggest you check out some of the ones we’ve featured for inspiration.

Jörg Schindelhauer, a brilliant bike craftsman and a proponent of the belt drive gear system, is behind Schindelhauer Bikes, the latest greatest thing to come out of Europe. “Belt drives provide a lighter, tighter and stronger option over a traditional chain, as these won’t break, sag or pop-off mid-ride. The Schindelhauer frames are available in powder coat or fine brushed metal and the components are all top-of-the-line.”

Wow, what a collection of beauties. We haven’t come across such a lineup of bicycles in quite sometime so it’s only right this one be a doozy, amiright? “In early 1980s Stefan Schaefter started in collecting and restoring vintage bicycles. Over the years this collection specialized into lightweight bicycles and got selected and refined. The brand “Speedbicycles” was first time used in early 1990s. In 2003 Speedbicycles Gmbh (Ltd liab. Co) (SARL) was founded. Today Speedbicycles offers purchase, sale, repair, restoration and advice of vintage lightweight bicycles. It is the target of Speedbicycles keeping the bikes as authentic as possible. For to preserve the flair of the bikes repainting, rechroming, etc. is avoided wherever applicable.”
