2012 BMW Concept M5
BMW has finally lifted the 2012 M5 Concept’s veil, showcasing a monstrous sports car with luxurious detailing to match. Based on the new BMW 5-Series, the new BMW M5 gets M-specific looks with an aggressive front fascia, side stance and rear appearance. Under the hood, expect the next-gen M5 to host a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 featuring BMW’s TwinPower Turbo Technology. The German automaker has stated that, when compared to the fourth generation of the BMW M5, the newly developed engine has a significantly increased output level, but does better on gas and drops emission levels by at least 25 percent.
No word yet on official specs but expect those to trickle out when the car begins hitting showrooms later this year. (via egmCarTech)
