Italian label Bottega Veneta has been known to craft some pretty impressive menswear over the company’s longstanding history but their latest creation — the Row Wool Coat — may be one of their best yet. It features a navy cotton/wool shell that’s fitted with two front waist pockets and collar as well as a detachable hood for added functionality and versatility.
If you thought Bottega Veneta‘s Spring 2010 collection was worth drooling over, feast your eyes on the label’s six-piece luggage set made from alligator skin (via luxist). The set “includes three suitcases (small, medium and large), a beauty case and a duffle bag, costs $157,000; the pieces are also available individually, ranging from $23,000 to $47,000. All are finished in noce fume rich brown soft-finished alligator skin and feature burnished metal hardware with reinforced corners and locking mechanisms.”
From The Fashionisto comes Bottega Veneta’s unveiling of their Spring 2010 collection at Milan Fashion Week. The collection is filled with inspirational color schemes including muted shades of browns and deep burnt reds. So what are some pieces to look for come Spring 2010? For starters, the collegiate jacket is still in play as well jogging style trousers, tye dies, rich prints and sheer knits. Take note of the narrow pinched shoulders on the blazers, a subtle yet defining change.
