Japan-based Popeye Magazine has this editorial featuring pieces from Burberry’s Black Label collection for the current Fall/Winter season. The December issue puts on display sleek, well tailored outerwear that we’ve come to expect from the British label.

Burberry Black Label is another we’re oh so jealous of the boys on the other side of the World. The line is exclusive to Japan and as photos of the Autumn/Winter ’09 collection have been released, we thought it was only right we turn you to the goods. Entitled ‘A Portrait in Black’, the latest lineup is as fulfilling and elegant of those from seasons past. Hypebeast states, “Whilst the aesthetic is generally formal, there are a few more casual jackets, no more so than the pink quilted number. As always, despite the British tone to the collection, its release will be limited to Japan.”

Exclusive to Japan, Burberry Black Label is a line that aims at a younger market, injecting younger, more tempting and dynamic uses of the Burberry checker pattern. Their S/S 2009 ad campaign was photographed by Lachlan Bailey and features Nimue Smit.
