Todd Selby recently took a trip to shoe and bag designer Christian Louboutin’s Home and Studio in Paris, France. The imagery provides a glimpse into the life of the designer, showcasing things such as the interior design of his home to an outstanding footwear collection that’s brought him to international acclaim. The photos are accompanied by a short interview with Mr. Louboutin as well. Head to The Selby for all the goods.
Available now from Christian Louboutin’s Fall 2011 collection for men is the John John Flat. It joins Louboutin’s growing lineup of formal footwear but don’t expect them to stay in stock for long as most of the designer’s product sells out fairly quickly. They come in two colorways, both featuring a three-tone upper — one dominated by grey and the other by a pure blue. The uppers are fitted with black leather cap toes, while the rest is made from a soft Satin material.
Here we have a preview of Christian Louboutin‘s Spring 2012 sneaker preview, with three styles being shown off thus far. The No Limit comes with metal spikes, rhinestones, zebra fur and a mix of colors, while the Mickael Flat comes in an acqua suede version and the Louis Strass with an all-over rhinestone design. Christian Louboutin latest creation for men is his Mikaraja Flat, a patent leather slip-on that’s fitted with a beaded tassel on the tongue and sides. Available now through Christian Louboutin for $2,095 USD.
From French designer Christian Louboutin comes a look at his iconic “Louis” sneaker in an all-black shell, studs and all. The shell features premium leather trim and tonal black outsole, with the signature studs dropped in matte black finish. Look for these at select retailers and in very limited quantities.
Another magnificent shoe from Christian Louboutin. “Platers” is a classic lace up oxford, updated, and remastered by Monsieur Louboutin. It features some amazing details as the shell is made of black stingray, something we’ve never seen done before.
