Miami-based Del Toro presents their Margom Sole Collection. They’ve taken one of their most popular models, the Alto Chukka, and blessed it with a margom sole. It’s offered in either suede or leather across a range of colorways, while the margom sole is featured in either a flecked or multicolored variety. The fine details don’t stop there as it features a leather lined interior and leather laces to top things off. The Margom Sole Collection is available now in limited numbers through Del Toro.

This mid chukka boot from Buttero features a woven cut out upper made from extra supple brown grained leather. The double wrap around lacing and fine detailing really make this a standout piece, especially for the warmer months. The sewn natural crepe rubber soles and leather cushioned insoles deliver comfort we demand when doing all that extra walking in the sun.

We turned you all to the Red Wing Shoes Postman Oxford a little while back and we’d now like to introduce you to the oxford shoe’s taller brother, the Postman Chukka. Like the Oxford, this too is a reissue from 1954, though this actually catered more to policeman than it did postman. Nonetheless, this Red Wing design shares many components with the Postman Oxford such as the black leather upper and cushion sole.

Wolverine’s 1000 Mile collection is by far one of our favorite boot lineups out, primarily because of its historical references, outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail. The range is pretty versatile as well, including the Wesley, a wingtip chukka boot that’s sure to work well in many different settings. The perforated wing tip design is highlighted with a Horween Rowdy Leather upper and is handcrafted to perfection. It’s lined with sheepskin and fitted with a leather and rubber outsole and slapped together with Goodyear Welt construction. Built to last.

Inventory adds one more fine Yuketen shoe to their Stockroom, this time a custom finish 2-eyelet Sport Chukka. “Yuketen’s Sport Chukka is a classic from their country range that offers the best in moccasin construction, comfortable materials and a classic aesthetic. The natural crepe sole sits beneath a soft leather insole sewn from the inside.” The dark brown’s a color we don’t think you can grab straight from the California-based shoemaker so expect these beauties to run out very quickly.

Selectism blesses us with an exclusive first look at Narrative‘s Spring/Summer 2010 footwear offering. “Hybrid is the word of the season at Narrative towers, with more (successful) meshing of shoe styles than we’ve seen in any of their previous collections. There’s brogued up high tops and trainers – it’s not a new concept, but the execution is much better than we’re used to seeing.” With such an array of styles, the label delivers shoes for just about any personality.

Over at Cool Material, we came across the Wodehouse chukkas by Timberland. They’re constructed of Horween leather and are hand finished for a well-worn and -care-for appearance, giving each pair distinctive characteristics.
