Italian label Diemme delivers this colorway of their Firenze boot exclusively for Nitty Gritty. Here, we have a video highlighting Adam Kimmel’s highly-touted collaboration with American workwear brand Carhartt. The product from the duo’s Fall 2011 collection is perfect for the months ahead as it features more muted tones and a rugged appeal. To coincide with the release of the upcoming season’s collection, a video’s been released which shows off the product in a different light.

From Unionmade comes their latest collaboration with New England’s Alden. The McClaren Longwing wingtip shoe is offered up in a two-tone colorway of tan and brown and is built on a double oak sole for unparalleled comfort. We’ve come across a few exclusives by Tricker’s for select retailers and this brogue boot for Fall 2011 looks tremendous. There’s really not much else you could want from a winter boot that’s handmade in England by a company that’s been doing it right for ages.
Japanese retailer Beauty & Youth have teamed up with GAP Japan to drop an exclusive range of 1969 denim. Available are two variations of the “Crotched Denim Slim” model, one in a black coated shell and another a bit more muted. Kimmel looks to shed some light on Carhartt’s signature heritage pieces by infusing them with high quality fabrics and a more modern look and feel. These pieces are as durable as you’d expect any Carhartt product to be but the wearability factor so much higher, folks. Look for plenty of product in this lineup including jackets, hooded sweatshirts, tees and accessories.
Brooklyn-based The Hill-Side joined forces with Monocle to craft these handmade pocket squares that are made with contrast selvedge. The hand embroidered designs feature The Hill-Sde and Monocle logos and are available in two colorways. Fold them squared or with the classic two points.
Our friends over at Gear Patrol have teamed up with swimwear label Onia for this limited-edition colorway of their Amaury board short. You may recall our recent interview with Carl of Onia as he discussed why he chose to enter the swimwear market highlighting a major gap in finding a well-fitting pair of shorts that’s not overdone with pockets and designs. Onia’s designs are more timeless with a more tailored fit, an 8″ inseam and curved waistband and are technically sound with their paneled cotton nylon construction.
They’re made in the USA and this special collaboration in ocean blue are limited to 99 pieces. These feature khaki detailing on the drawstring, zipper linings and a coin pocket.
We’ve reported on some top-notch collaborations for Fall 2011 and this one between Opening Ceremony and Rodarte is ranking pretty high, folks. The styles are well-cut and extremely wearable with a good blend of warmer fabrics and muted hues. The imagery, captured by Autumn de Wilde, is captivating with its Scandinavia-inspired dream sequence.
