Our good friend Alex Grant turns us to the Gant Rugger F/W 2011 feature in collaboration with Close Up and Private. The imagery highlights some of the fine Bastin-designed product which has already begun to fill the shelves at GANT Rugger shops and select stockists worldwide. The gloves shown in the above picture will be in the collection but let’s not allow them to overshadow the well-detailed suit in the shot as well. Flannel suit with gold buttons? Game. Over.

Barbour and Tokihito Yoshida continue their fruitful collaboration into Fall 2011 with a plethora of pieces for the colder months. The Spey Fishing jacket is a new style that’s been added to the mix, one we think will be well-received by you all. The style’s got plenty of Barbour-infused detailing like the waxed shell and cord collar but gets the To Ki To touch with added functionality.

Junya Watanabe COMME des GARCONS MAN is teaming up with Levi’s Vintage Clothing, with the initial collaboration being for these LVC 1954 denims for the Fall 2011 season. These 501s are the original tapered style jeans and feature various materials throughout the patchwork including leather, plaid flannel and corduroy. The corduroy waistband, re-positioned back pockets and an additional center seam down the back of the leg add to the fine detailings of these denims.

H&M has announced a long term partnership with David Beckham to produce and exclusively sell his new David Beckham bodywear line through nearly 1,800 stores worldwide.

Japanese mega-retailer Uniqlo has inked a deal with UNDERCOVER to begin collaborating on a clothing line set to release in Spring 2012 with the launch of a flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo. For those not familiar, Undercover was first started back in 1989 by Mr. Jun Takahashi while he was a student at Bunka Fashion College. The brand’s gained a massive following over the year, in Japan and internationally.
Details are slim on the collaboration thus far but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Tenue de Nîmes is launching a collection of special, hand-dyed, natural indigo, customized Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes that will be released during Amsterdam Fashion Week this summer. On July 15th Tenue de Nîmes will host a ‘Down-Town’ event in their Amsterdam-based store to celebrate the release of this limited edition shoe. Tenue de Nîmes asked the legendary denim experts, the Manabe family from Okoyama in Japan, owners of the Momotaro brand and Rampuya dyeing factory, if they would be able to indigo-dye a limited amount of 50 pairs and Mr. Manabe gracefully obliged.

The folks over at Hodinkee give us a detailed look at a collaboration for the ages. Legendary sport bike manufacturer Ducati announced their first ever partnership with a Swiss watch company. Tudor, the brand behind the Heritage Chronograph from last year’s Basel, is now the “official timing partner” of Ducati.
To celebrate this partnership, the CEO’s of both companies presented a special edition Tudor Fastrider chronograph you see above, complete with Ducati’s trademark black and red colors. The watch is 42mm in diameter, features an automatic chronograph with 46 hour power reserve, and has a cool quick-set date button at 9 o’clock coated in PVD.
Though this Ducati-themed Fastrider will not be a limited edition, it will be made in lower numbers than the standard production Fastrider. The price for the Fastrider will range from 3300CHF to 3500CHF depending on which bracelet option you choose — nylon strap, leather strap or steel bracelet.
