The Dark Knight Rises Trailer No. 3

Warner Bros. have unveiled the third official trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. The film’s villain, Bane, plays center stage in this trailer as he terrorizes Gotham City. The lineup is tremendous for the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and the result is a one of the most anticipated movies in recent times. Alongside Christian Bale are a host of other notables including Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt being introduced to the lineup as John Blake. Michael Cane, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman are all back for their previous roles. The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit theaters July 20th.

‘The Dark Knight’ x BD-Live

With “The Dark Knight” surpassing $400 million this week, there’s already talk of what DC has in store when the movie hits Blu-ray.  Not too long ago, Sony introduced a feature for Blu-ray dubbed “BD-Live,” which creates endless possibilities for the platform.

‘The Dark Knight’ surpasses $400 million

Shrek 2 broke the $400 million mark in 43 days, but that’s no match for our favorite super hero.  “The Dark Knight”  surpassed that mark in 19 days with $405.7 million, breaking yet another record.  The most highly anticipated of the franchise, it’s done wonders for DC and for the movie industry as well.  (more…)
