From Dolce & Gabbana comes this red-brown pre-worn leather bomber jacket in a fitted cut. This may very well be one of our favorite jackets of the year as it’s got some fine detailing and the worn-in leather and finish is exceptional. The jacket also features ribbed wool cuffs and hem and is made in Italy with the finest care.

The Spring/Summer 2011 shows are in full swing over in Milan and as Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana have been designing menswear for 20 years now, this Dolce & Gabbana collection is a bit special. For inspiration, they went back to their roots and their upbringing in the southern part of Italy. Look for white linen suits and leather jackets alongside ripped jeans and loose woven sweaters.

The masses are gearing up for Milan, so before the festivities kick off, we’ve got a preview of what’s to be unveiled by Italy’s Dolce & Gabbana. With this being Domenico and Stefano’s 20th year in menswear, we’re really excited to see what the duo’s bringing come the fall. The show is on January 16th at Milan’s Metropol theatre at 2pm Milan time.

Dolce & Gabbana is set to release some fine eyewear from their Gold Edition, just in time for the holidays. One pair reminds us of a Dita Cazal collaboration from about a year ago. The piping on these are slick along with the other gold lining. Will they be on my dresser in the next few weeks? For 90,000 Yen (over 1000 USD), probably not. They’re still great to look at.

The Fashionisto gives us a look inside Barneys’ Fall 2009 Mailer. This upcoming season is probably one the most consistent and fresh lineups we’ve seen in quite sometime. My eye’s are set on that wool suit by Band of Outsiders among other pieces. Tweed and other warm fabrics are playing a major among a few different designers, but that’s not surprising.

Saturday will mark the official beginning of Menswear Fashion Week in Milan, but that doesn’t mean preparations have not already begun. Courtesy of 00o00, these photos show designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana putting the final touches on their Spring/Summer 2010 collection.

Dolce & Gabbana has also announced that they will be reducing retail prices by 10 to 20 percent to combat the slipping world economy. Hey, we’ll take what we can get.  (more…)

We’re obviously not reporting this to tell you about the new makeup line that Dolce & Gabbana is launching. What intrigues us (and what we think will intrigue you, too) is the fact that they’ve asked Ms. Scarlett Johanssen to be the face of the ad campaigns. The first shot’s leaked and as beautiful as she is, we’re not enjoying that facial expression. Take 2, guys. Please.

Milan Fashion Week started today and it was set off with Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2009 line. There were the usual formal, casual, and skin pieces but Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana added some very appealing leather, velvet and holdalls. There is also an addition of quilted trousers and jackets.The main theme throughout seemed to be black and a little background music courtesy of the The Killers set the tone.
