MR PORTER took some time out to chat with the lead of one of the restaurant world’s most influential families as the Cipriani Downtown Ibiza restaurant recently opened up inside the Ibiza Gran Hotel. Mr. Giuseppe Cipriani’s grandfather opened the legendary Harry’s Bar in Venice in 1931 and the brand has been flourishing ever since, now with a reputation that’s entering a fourth generation. The Cipriani name defines class and Mr. Cipriani is nothing short of that himself. The face of the Cipriani name discusses his love for the Art Deco movement, racing, and why they decided to set up shop in Ibiza amongst other things. Here’s a look at an editorial found in Dapper Dan Magazine #4 issue highlighting Kris Van Assche’s Fall/Winter 2011 offerings. Japan’s master-piece received a featured editorial in The New Order magazine. The Osaka-based label showcased their new bags and backpacks for Spring 2011, each crafted in a range of finishes. The backpacks are available in a few different sizes and feature some technical elements such as nylon, waterproof zipper closure and plenty of extra pockets.
