MR PORTER took some time out to chat with the lead of one of the restaurant world’s most influential families as the Cipriani Downtown Ibiza restaurant recently opened up inside the Ibiza Gran Hotel. Mr. Giuseppe Cipriani’s grandfather opened the legendary Harry’s Bar in Venice in 1931 and the brand has been flourishing ever since, now with a reputation that’s entering a fourth generation. The Cipriani name defines class and Mr. Cipriani is nothing short of that himself. The face of the Cipriani name discusses his love for the Art Deco movement, racing, and why they decided to set up shop in Ibiza amongst other things. GQ Style South Africa has launched their first issue for Autumn / Winter 2012 and asked British designer Ozwald Boateng to grace the cover. Christian Dior has launched Dior Mag, an online magazine that will serve as a hub for funding all things related to the famed fashion house. Expect runway shows to be streamed through here and new products and collections to use it as their platform. Exclusive news and content will be found here so be sure to bookmark it as things are about to get quite interesting.

Here’s a look at an editorial found in Dapper Dan Magazine #4 issue highlighting Kris Van Assche’s Fall/Winter 2011 offerings. The shots are shown in black and white, shedding light on the structured pieces that come in a more contemporary fit. The editorial was done by Vassilis Karidis and features Dan Felton. The man’s tat game is pretty serious and it’s just what the shoot needed.

From HUGE Magazine’s 8th Year Anniversary issue comes this editorial highlighting product from Engineered Garments’ Fall 2011 collection. Japan’s master-piece received a featured editorial in The New Order magazine. The Osaka-based label showcased their new bags and backpacks for Spring 2011, each crafted in a range of finishes. The backpacks are available in a few different sizes and feature some technical elements such as nylon, waterproof zipper closure and plenty of extra pockets.
